Lester Thomas Shane's work as an actor, director and writer has been seen on television, film, the New York stage and in regional theatre.
His directing credits include Macbeth, Twelfth Night, Hamlet, The Tempest (Shakespeare at the Met, Jacksonville, FL), Hedwig and the Angry Inch, Sweet Phoebe, Science Gets Serious (Cleveland Public Theatre); Awake and Sing (Halle Theatre, Cleveland, Ohio), Shatter The Vessel (Charlottesville New Play Festival); Last Chance For Happiness (Premiere), Loot (T.Schreiber Studio); Hedda Gabler, Summer & Smoke (The Manhattan Theatre Club); Tom Eyen's The White Whore and the Bit Player (The Production Company and The Core Group); Pretty Witty Nell, Grit in a Sensitive Instrument (Vineyard Theatre); Pearl (Pulse Ensemble); Blithe Spirit, and Bus Stop (Findlay SummerStock). As Director in Residence at New York's The Basic Theatre, he has directed the New York premieres of Shaviana, Bertolt Brecht: In Dark Times, The Haircut, and Santa Monica Threeway, revivals of Sure Thing, Let us Go Into The Starry Night and Shakespeare's rarely performed Titus Andronicus. In addition he has directed numerous readings and workshops and has worked with the literary departments of Manhattan Theatre Club, Westbeth and Hartford Stage.
Lester is the co-authour of several screenplays including Pajama Party Horror, Nothing To Lose, and Portrait of the Artist As A Dead Man. A series of his plays for children was published by Sundance. He co-developed the program, P.O.V. Max for Children's Television Workshop. Lester has been a contributing writer for A&E Monthly Magazine and Facilities. For A&E Network Television's popular Biography series, he wrote James Brown: Godfather of Soul, Tyrone Power: The Last Idol, and Carmen Miranda: The South American Way. For AMC he wrote the history, 20th Century Fox: The First Fifty Years; and for the Discovery Network, Nazis: The Occult Conspiracy.
As an actor, he worked at the Alabama Shakespeare Festival. In addition to playing leading roles like Mercutio, Tartuffe and Puck, Lester also served as the company Voice and Movement Master for three years. Other acting credits include Ariel in The Tempest (People's Light & Theatre Co.), He in Edward Albee's Counting the Ways, and a tour of All Compact. His award-winning one-man show, Mortal Coil, premiered at the First International New York Fringe Festival and has since played across the country. Mortal Coil has been produced for video and has been incorporated into Columbia University and UCLA's curriculum for training doctors on end-of-life care. Lester continues to tour the production.
Lester is on the faculty of New York's New Actor's Workshop and the TADA! Ensemble. He was invited to give the keynote address at the 2001 National Teaching Training Institute sponsored by PBS. Lester has worked extensively as a speech and dialects coach. His credits include Merchant of Venice with Morris Carnovsky, Escape From Happiness, Orpheus Descending (T. Schreiber Studio) and New Music (The Mint Theater).

Joe is an information systems professional with over 15 years of experience as an application developer in client/server and 3-tier (WWW.)environments. He is experienced in assessing business IT requirements and in the design, development and construction of web/database solutions. This includes brochure web sites, e-commerce web sites, content management systems and client management systems. Language proficiencies include HTML, JavaScript, Cold Fusion, C/CGI, Perl/CGI, on various platforms such as Windows 2000, Windows NT, Unix, Solaris, and Linux. Clients have included several fortune 500 companies, primarily in the financial, post production, and multimedia industries.
Joe is also classically trained as a singer, having performed in several operas and choirs, and has worked in numerous musical theater venues.
